NFL Mobile headed to Galaxy Nexus today — Super Bowl live stream included
When I received my shiny new Galaxy Nexus from Verizon with 4G LTE I was excited to try NFL Mobile -- their awesome (and sadly exclusive) NFL app that basically is a must-have for any Football fan. Not to mention NFL Mobile premium with free live streaming of all NFL games including the Super Bowl is free for 4G LTE smartphone customers. Sadly it was not supported on the Galaxy Nexus but according to Droid-Life that should be changing today.

Google+ Update hits the market with Hangout and UI improvements
Google+ is on our update radar again today and has just received the latest update from Google. Between the recent updates to photo tagging, hashtags, instant hangouts on mobile devices and more this is quickly becoming one of Google's premiere apps. It received a large update last week so I'm surprised to see another so quick -- but I'll take it.

Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation is now available for Android
Gameloft has just released the extremely impressive looking Modern Combat 3 for Android. We were teased with a few sample videos showing off this quality game back in August and sadly we've had to wait almost a half year to get this game on our Android phones and tablets. Gameloft officially released this first person shooter over the weekend and I'm excited to give it a try.

AT&T and T-Mobile call it quits — won’t be merging after all
AT&T has just issued a statement today outlining what many probably already saw coming. And that is that they have decided to call it quits and end the bid for a T-Mobile buyout. This was by far one of the biggest corporate deals this year, especially in the mobile industry but at the moment it appears to be dead in the water -- and for good. More details and the official statement are below.

Light Flow – LED Control: The perfect app for Galaxy Nexus notifications
Just like the Nexus One before it Google has been kind enough to add something I think all smartphones should have to the Galaxy Nexus -- and that is the LED notification light. Something so simple, small, and cheap makes a world of difference. Especially for people like me getting notifications and work emails all day long. For those wanting to get the most out of this awesome feature we have just the app for you.

Who wants some 4G LTE to go along with the Galaxy Nexus? In the same fashion as they've done all year Verizon has flipped the switch and gave the green light to 11 new cities to access their 4G LTE spectrum starting today. Verizon's 4G LTE recently celebrated its 1 year birthday and in that short amount of time they've reached almost 200 markets and offer 4G LTE to over 200 million Americans nationwide.

Netflix updated with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich support
Just in time for everyone in the US to start receiving their Galaxy Nexus phones running ICS, Netflix has updated today with full support for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The update has just hit the Android Market and it only shows a few small bug fixes and ICS support. This is just in time because I'm sure many are picking their Nexus up at this very moment.
