Verizon inks multi-year deal with NFL – more live streaming coming in 2014

Today the National Football League and Verizon Wireless have agreed to another multi-year deal that will extend their exclusive access to NFL Mobile for Verizon customers. We're not learning any details about how long this new extension is for, but we have a feeling Verizon won't be letting go of this anytime soon. The most important part of the news is the additional features and live streaming options coming next year.

NCAA March Madness official Android app updated – Live stream all games free

Starting again today we get to enjoy some of the best few weeks in all of sports. Of course we're talking about NCAA Basketball's March Madness. Just like last year today we're bringing you the official NCAA March Madness app for Android, and of course you can stream all 67 games free. Well as long as the app supports your cable provider. It's been redesigned for 2013, looks amazing, and supports nearly every single device I've ever owned or reviewed.

NFL 2012 Preseason Live app for tablets only $20

Who loves Football? For those not in the US I'm talking about the NFL. Preseason is off to a great start. The regular season is almost here and although we love Android, many also love NFL just as we do. For those interesting in following their teams progress and pre-season you can watch every single game live, or on demand with the official NFL app, but it'll cost ya.

Didn’t Get Google I/O tickets, don’t worry everything will be streamed live

So today Google opened what we can only call the flood gates for Google I/O 2012 registration, and flood gates might even be an understatement. With only 5,500 tickets available starting at 7:01 AM they had over 6000 clicks per second, and things sold out extremely fast. I've already seen countless angry tweets, and emails on the fact that no one that wanted to go -- actually got tickets. Even some extremely popular Android developers that could actually benefit from the event.

Who is ready for the best month of sports? Yup, it's March Madness time. Although the NCAA Tournament has officially kicked off already and most brackets need to already be finished, we have a few of our favorite applications for following or creating brackets, live streams and more. The future is now here. Welcome to 2012 where we can enjoy the Super Bowl live right from our Android smartphone. Yes we've been able to watch sports, UFC, and other things on Android thanks to Adobe Flash and other means for some time now, but Verizon will be live streaming the entire Super Bowl right to our devices.
