Brutal drop tests are welcome even if they are heart-breaking to watch because we can still learn a thing or two from them. For those Android fans who are only interested in how fast new smartphones are compared to others, rely on speed tests. As for the Galaxy Note 5, the new premium flagship smartphone was recently compared with the LG G4.

Next LG smartwatch visits the FCC

The LG Watch Urbane is a thing of beauty. It's not the first round smartwatch from LG. There's also the LG G Watch R which was revealed ahead of IFA last year. The Watch Urbane was the first to run the latest Android Wear and was soon made available in the country last April. We haven't heard of a follow-up until today when an LG Watch has been spotted at the FCC grounds. This could mean a new wearable from the South Korean tech company will be unveiled at the upcoming IFA 2015.

LG announces new portable speakers ahead of IFA 2015

LG is looking to further expand its wireless audio product line by announcing two new additions, a few weeks ahead of the IFA 2015 in Berlin. The LG Music Flow P5 is a rectangular wireless speaker that does not compromise on sound quality despite its size. Meanwhile, the SoundPop 360 is for the more trendy user as it has a unique shape but also claims to maintain the sound quality that can come from LG.

LG silently launches new G Pad II 8.0 slate in South Korea

LG didn't make a fuss about its latest Android slate in South Korea but the G Pad II 8.0 is very much similar to the previous model but of course, with some new features. The tablet features the same 8-inch screen with 1280 x 800 px IPS display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The processor is still the same: Snapdragon 400 chipset but now with 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, as well as, Adreno 305 GPU.

New images leaked of reported LG Nexus 5 2015 version

There’s still a huge lack of information on the planned 2015 refresh of the Nexus 5, still by the same manufacturer that put out the first one, Korean gadget manufacturers LG. It looks like both the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 6 will be refreshed this year, with Huawei getting the rights for the rumored phablet-sized 2015 Nexus 6. The Nexus 5 will reportedly stay with a 5.2-inch screen, and we have some images of reported company renders (aside from the full-on shot above) for you to ogle at.

LG brings Hi-Fi music to premium phones

What's the point of paying for a premium flagship phone when you can't take advantage of all its features? LG knows there is a great demand for great quality audio so it's introducing a new music service that promises high-fidelity music service. The Hi-Fi music service is available for premium smartphone owners via the the LG SmartWorld app.
