Cool Verizon spot races onto TVs
If you're an Indy racing fan, Verizon has a cool new service that will help you keep up on your favorite racing team ... Team Verizon! The spot is for the Indy Car Mobile app, which follows the IZOD Indy Car Series. With the app, users can listen to in car audio, keep track of races with leader boards, highlights, and even special tweets from the drivers (I hope while not racing!). Upcoming features to include live in-car camera for Verizon sponsored drivers, press conference streaming and Indy Car Nation exclusive content. According to the YouTube page, the app currently follows Indy racers Will Power, Helio Castroneves & Ryan Briscoe.

LG has confirmed that the Verizon version of their Optimus One Android smartphone - the Verizon Vortex - will land on November 18; meanwhile, in just over a month, the company has shifted one million of the devices. That includes Optimus One sales, together with Sprint and T-Mobile USA's own versions, the Optimus S and Optimus T. In fact, LG reckons that by the time it has finished rolling the Optimus One out across the 120 carriers and partners it has planned, it will be the company's first 10m-sales smartphone. It's a phone for first-time smartphone users looking to join and explore the Android world. It connects with 3G, it's sleek, and it comes in black or violet. It'll cost you $79.99 after a $100 rebate and a 2-year agreement. The cash, interestingly, will return to you in the form of a debit card, useable anywhere debit cards are useable. Plans on this phone begin at $39.99 monthly for talk, $15 monthly for 150MB data.
