LG Thrill 4G

LG Optimus 3D Shown with CyanogenMod 7 Looking Good [Video]

Today we have a video teasing some beautiful CyanogenMod 7 running on the LG Optimus 3D (aka LG Thrill 4G). It might not be available for the AT&T version right away but most likely both will have CM7 builds very shortly. We knew CM7 was coming to the 3D powered phone but now we have a video showing its speed.

AT&T Down in NYC, Says Up Soon

The fine folks at AT&T have stated that the problems many customers have been experiencing this morning (August 4th, 2011), indeed were on part of the network itself and that said problems would be repaired soon. Customers using the AT&T network have had voice service outages Thursday morning, says AT&T, because of a routine set of maintenance activities. Earlier in the day AT&T also sent out a statement that they were having trouble with their 3G voice network specifically in Long Island.

It's that time again, time to look at LG's vision of a 3D media collecting and sharing world through what we saw before as the LG Optimus 3D and are now seeing as the LG THRILL 4G. This device is essentially the same piece of hardware with different bits inside and connectivity along AT&T's bands specifically - more like branded to AT&T specifically and released on their network. Will this 3D piece of machinery change the way we see personal photo and video sharing? Will its dual-core Texas Instruments processor and its ability to break the 3rd wall into our vision convince the masses to take the LG/AT&T combo plunge? These are some waters you're going to want to take a swim in. Check out how this bit of hardware is working.

LG Thrill 4G Delayed Til End of August

That fancy new 4G device with glasses-free 3D known as the LG Thrill 4G, yea apparently it's getting delayed for a few more weeks. A few weeks back we saw a leaked RadioShack memo claiming August 7th was the release date as well as the amazing price of just $80 dollars. Now we are hearing slightly different info and if it indeed is delayed that would be a shame.

LG Thrill 4G Hands-On and Unboxing

What we've got here is a real live glasses-free 3D device, complete with the ability to both capture 3D media through its dual-lens cameras on the back and the ability to play 3D games with its sweet TFT 3D display. In addition, you're able to output 3D media to your 3D-enabled television with the HDMI-out port on the side of the LG Thrill and it's got a 6 foot HDMI cord included in the box! What more could you want! Oh you'd like a dual-core Texas Instruments OMAP4 1GHz processor too? Well you're in luck, that's packed in too!
