LG announced the Optimus F Series of smartphones back in February during Mobile World Congress. The F Series consists of the F5 and the F7 and LG has said these handsets were designed to bring a “premium user experience and the speed of 4G LTE to a mass audience.” On that note, the Optimus F5 global rollout has since been detailed and it looks like those in Europe will get first access beginning today, April 29.
LG has come forward with details on their latest Optimus branded smartphone. This one is arriving as the LG Optimus GK and it has specs similar to that of the Optimus G Pro. Well, similar, but on a slightly smaller scale. To begin with, the Optimus GK is sporting a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display (as opposed to the 5.5-inch display on the Optimus G Pro) and is powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor.

LG has officially released the Optimus G Pro for those in Japan. The handset will be available by way of NTT DoCoMo and while we have seen plenty on this particular smartphone, this one is arriving with a slightly different display. You see, instead of the 5.5-inch display, the NTT DoCoMo variant will have a 5-inch display. While smaller, the display is still Full HD in resolution.
FCC filing does not specifically mention the Optimus G Pro, however it does mention the LG E980. The key here though, the LG E980 is believed to be the AT&T version of the Optimus G Pro. Given we have already seen an official announcement, not to mention, spent some hands-on time with the handset -- lets get into the parts about this being a model for AT&T.
