LG Intuition update rolling out and causing major issues

If you're the proud owner of the LG Intuition over on Verizon Wireless, also known as the LG Optimus Vu phablet, we have some bad news. Reports are flowing in that Verizon and LG recently sent out an update for the device that is causing some serious issues and headaches for many. You'll still be on Android 4.0 ICS, and all the problems it's causing might make you want to reconsider accepting the update.

LG has been fairly quiet in terms of Android related announcements here at CES 2013, however they did offer one goodie for the Optimus Vu: II -- a new app. The app is called Panorama Note and will allow users to create extra wide 3:1 ratio memos and drawings.

LG confirms Jelly Bean release schedule for several devices

LG has issued a release regarding its plans for updating many of its devices to Jelly Bean. Owners of some of LG's Optimus devices will get to enjoy the new features of Jelly Bean, some starting as soon as next month. Users with an LG Optimus LTE II will see their phones update sometime in November, with updates for other devices continuing as time goes on.

LG Optimus Vu II arrives in Korea, looks to take on Galaxy Note II

In a move to compete with the slowly-growing phablet market, LG has decided to launch one of their own smartphone-and-tablet hybrids. The LG Optimus Vu II, as it's called, has a 5-inch display with 4:3 aspect ratio, which is something we don't normally see these days from an Android device. LG hopes to compete with Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note II phablet head on with this new device.

Verizon has finally and officially announced the often rumored LG Optimus Vu with 4G LTE. As you should already know this massive phablet is called the LG Intuition from Verizon and as of today it will be available starting September 6th. We saw these details last week but today Verizon has confirmed all the important bits.

LG's overly sized 5-inch Optimus Vu phablet still is barely available outside of South Korea, but today they've already announced a second model coming soon. It will simply be called the Optimus Vu II and we don't have much regarding specs although they've made certain we know of its universal remote features and new infrared blaster similar to some Samsung tablets.

We've seen countless leaks and rumors so it's no secret at this point. Today we have even more confirmation that it's headed to Verizon, complete with a name change. The Optimus Vu will be branded as the Intuition by LG.
