quite a bit of smartphones to announce. One of many was their new Optimus L7 II mid-range handset. We know the device is coming, and we also know that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean should be coming soon, but maybe they know something we don't. Today LG's website has the device listed with Google's latest OS update on board, but it could just be a mistake.

LG were presented with iF product design awards for 2013. In all, this list includes the Optimus Life, Lucid 4G, Optimus G, Optimus L7, Optimus L9 and Optimus LTE2. With the exception of the Optimus Life and the Optimus LTE2, these were all design awards in the smartphone category.
LG recently began teasing in advance of Mobile World Congress and while we wait to see what they have planned for the show, it looks like they have also started teasing some current device owners with an update. Specifically, teasing those with an Optimus 4X HD, Optimus L9 and Optimus L7 with Jelly Bean. The details are still at a minimum, however if you happen to be carrying any of those three devices -- an update is in the works.
Optimus L series handset has leaked. The newly discovered device is the LG Optimus L7 II Dual and as the dual in the name would imply, this one has two SIM card slots. Or more specifically, the handset will have two SIM card slots with support for simultaneous use. Otherwise, the Optimus L7 II Dual will have a 4.3-inch IPS display and above average sized battery.
LG is puffing out its chest today with the announcement that its Optimus L smartphones have passed 10 million units in sales. The devices included in the Optimus L series are the Optimus L3, Optimus L5, Optimus L7 and the more recent Optimus L9. Screen sizes for the device range from 3.2 inches to 4.7 inches, so LG is hitting all different segments of the market.
Boost Mobile and LG announced the Venice, which will soon be taking up residence on Boost's shelves. To Android fanatics, the LG Venice will look instantly familiar, and that's because it's Boost's version of the LG Optimus L7, which launched at the beginning of summer. Not much has changed with the Optimus L7's transition to the Venice, aside from the name of course.
US Cellular have teamed up and will finally be bringing one of LG's new L-series "stylish" phones to the US with what we've previously known as the Optimus L7. The image below was quickly spotted on LG's website and was immediately pulled, but not before the interwebs saved the image. Get ready for some LG Ice Cream Sandwich USCC.
LG Optimus L7. But id the top end of LG's stylish new trio is what you're craving, you won't have to fight the press in London to get a peek at it. LG announced that the L7 is going on sale in major retailers across Europe today, spreading joy through an 8.9mm profile and Ice Cream Sandwich at launch.
LG France the new L7 will be available in late April, with the L5 series coming later in May. The L7 being their higher-end L model it comes with attractive pricing, and styling.
LG Optimus L-series at this year's Mobile World Congress, and even had some hands-on time with each of the three. Rogers has confirmed that the Optimus L7 will be part of its 'Smartphone Lite' category. In case you aren't familiar with their Smartphone Lite package, it's tuned for people that use the data features on their phone sparingly. There still isn't any information regarding when it will launch or its price, but at least we know it's coming.
