LG Optimus 3D has been priced and dated, for the UK at least, after making its official debut at MWC 2011 this week. According to retailer Expansys, the 3D-capable smartphone will be £514.99 when it arrives, SIM-free and unlocked, on April 25. Of course, we're also expecting that price to come down considerably when subsidized by carriers. More details in our hands-on. [via Recombu]

Optimus 3D to the popular online video portal's 3D channel. Optimus 3D users will be able to upload and share recorded videos to YouTube directly from their phones. Of course, viewers will need a special set of red/blue 3D glasses to watch them, but hey, it's 3D!
Optimus 3D at MWC 2011 today. The smartphone looks cool and it is 3D capable and has a dual lens 5MP camera on the back that can record 3D video. The smartphone runs a 1GHz OMAP4 processor and the display can show the 3D video recorded without the need for glasses.
Optimus 3D continues to emerge in a steady drip of pre-MWC 2011 details, the latest being a render video that seemingly tallies with the leaked handset spotted last month. Pocket-lint's source sent them the footage, which shows a brief glimpse of the murky smartphone and some double-flashing action from the camera array on the rear. The video follows footage of LG's other 3D-toting Android device, the LG G-Tablet, which emerged earlier today. Unlike the G-Tablet, however, the Optimus 3D is expected to have a glasses-free 3D display which can show three-dimensional pictures without the silly specs. [youtube dnYeuTjAMig]
fonearena overnight, and they show no less than HTC Desire, HTC Flyer, HTC Pyramid, LG Optimus 3D, and a Star Tab in various inventory lists. Although we trust fonearena to be tossing out trustable info, and they say this source has been good in the past, there's always the fact that these lists could quite easily have been replicated in any gridlike program for computing.
LG's Optimus 3D is on its way, though neither will admit to a release date. Vodafone's announcement was straightforward, with the carrier telling Electricpig that "it will come to Vodafone. As soon as it’s launched, we will bring it to the UK." Three was slightly more surreptitious, instead using Twitter to link to the promotional "Something big is coming" video which LG released earlier in the week. The Optimus 3D is expected to launch at MWC 2011 later this month complete with a 3D-capable display and a dual-camera array. [youtube AYb3EclvaMg]
