T-Mobile blows through Nexus 4 online stock in mere hours

It isn't exactly a secret that the Nexus 4 is one hard phone to find, at least if you're looking for it on the Google Play Store. The phone sold out in minutes once it launched on Google Play Store, and since then, it's been nothing but broken hearts and full wallets. Google thought placing a link to T-Mobile's online Nexus 4 listing would help the situation, but it looks like that was only a temporarily solution to an ongoing problem.

Nexus 4 gets the inevitable drop test

For some odd reason this has continued to be a growing trend with basically every smartphone or tablet that gets released. Drop tests are becoming the norm these days and now the brand new LG Nexus 4 has just received its share of drops. Spoiler: it doesn't do too well, just like most phones. For those that enjoy these odd videos showing the obvious, take a peek below.

HTC DROID DNA should’ve been the Nexus 5

Google's Nexus line is known for pushing the cutting edge and helping the evolution of Android along. Earlier this week Google's brand new LG Nexus 4 finally went up for sale. While we aren't here to talk about the lack of stock, or the immediate sold out status, we do want to mention what should've been. It should have been the HTC Nexus 5 or the HTC Nexus DNA. With a beautiful 5-inch 1080p HD display and a quad-core processor if any phone deserved the Nexus branding, the HTC DROID DNA was it.

Nexus 4 Dot Live Wallpaper hits Google Play for free

When it comes to the Nexus 4, there are a lot of things to like (except the lack of a microSD slot, but that's another story for another time). One thing people seem to like most is the design of the device. The only problem is that the Nexus 4 is currently sold out on the Google Play Store and even some of those who ordered it on launch day are being told that their phone won't ship for another three weeks. What's a prospective Nexus 4 owner to do?

Nexus 4 shipments delayed three weeks

If you managed to purchase a Nexus 4 on launch day and thought you were in the clear, then we've got some bad news for you. It turns out that Google sold more Nexus 4s than it actually had available, as some who purchased the Nexus 4 on launch day are receiving a very disappointing email from the big G today. What does that email say? That their Nexus 4 order won't be shipping out for another three weeks.

LG Nexus 4 available today from T-Mobile for $200

If you're one of the many that are excited about Google's latest Android 4.2 Nexus smartphone, the quad-core LG Nexus 4, we have some good news. After the disaster and quick sell out of the Nexy on Google Play yesterday, some fans weren't too excited on missing out. If you really want to save a few dollars, and sign a contract, T-Mobile has the 16GB model online and in-stores starting today.

Nexus 4 sells out in the US – in just under 24 minutes [Update]

Today is the day that many were hoping to get their hands on, or at least purchase a shiny new LG Nexus 4 from the folks at Google. Available just about 40 minutes ago in the US was the LG Nexus 4 and the Samsung Nexus 10 tablets running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. We're not sure if this is good news, or bad, but the LG Nexus 4 has already sold out in both 8 and 16GB options.
