T-Mobile G2x Launching Again? Should be in-stock soon and running Gingerbread

For those that have been following along with the entire T-Mobile G2x "situation" you probably have had your share of issues. First we heard it was pulled from the online store for quality control issues, later it was said this was due to demand and nothing was wrong but the device has been out of stock online and in T-Mobile stores since that first ran back at the end of May. It appears T-Mobile has the 2.3 Gingerbread update ready to go, and will be re-launching the phone in stores this week.

T-Mobile G2x 2.3 Gingerbread Update Less Than a Month Away?

Many users ran out and bought the LG G2x when it first launched over on T-Mobile. It was what we all thought to be a vanilla Android device aka Google experience device packing a dual-core chip and it would rock. Don't get me wrong the phone is great but the software had all sorts of LG tweaks and overall it had more than a few issues. Last we heard the update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread and bug fixes was coming by summer and we haven't heard anything else regarding the matter.

LG Revolution Review

Welcome to the Revolution! This is LG's newest effort for Verizon, the LG Revolution running on their 4G LTE network. This device features a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 pixel resolution TFT display and a single core Snapdragon MSM8655 1GHz processor, connecting with Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI, DNLA, and it's got Netflix! That this is one of the most important draws to the device makes us wary of it. But behold, this is an LG phone and we've been rolling out with some rather impressive LG phones as of late. The LG Optimus 3D and the T-Mobile G2x were pretty excellent, how does the LG Revolution add up?

T-Mobile G2x update to Gingerbread coming “by summer” and will address issues

The last few days there has been lots of talk about the G2x and what is going on with it. First there was reports that it was pulled from T-Mobile due to quality control issues, only later denied by T-Mobiles twitter account stating that it was not pulled for QC and rather it was low on inventory because it was selling in high volumes. Now reports are coming out that they are currently getting ready to release the Gingerbread update soon and that it will fix some of the issues being reported.

T-Mobile G2x Unavailable due to Demand, not Quality Issues

Yesterday there was a lot of buzz going around, and apparently just a big rumor mill that the T-Mobile LG G2x was pulled from inventory and the site for quality control issues. We covered that and you can read all about it by clicking here. TmoNews might have been the first to cover the story and everyone else jumped in on the action. It seems that T-Mobile has replied to and squashed these rumors already. The device is so popular inventory is low, they have no quality control issues and it has not been pulled.
