LG is at it again today by teasing everyone about their upcoming quad-core smartphone called the Optimus G. This time around they are calling it "The Newest Premium Quad-Core Smartphone." And have released a quick teaser video over on YouTube to get everyone excited about a smartphone without limits.
Optimus G quad-core smartphone and now a very similar device is headed to AT&T as the LG Eclipse 4G LTE. It looks like those who passed on the Galaxy S III could have a great device in their hands soon.
LG Eclipse isn't a new one. We've heard and seen various leaks of this device over the past few weeks indicating a rather powerful smartphone headed to the US complete with Qualcomm's quad-core Krait processor. Today however it has leaked again, en route to AT&T, and possibly hitting the market come this October.
LS970 "Eclipse" 4G LTE, ostensibly a CDMA version of the Optimus LTE2 (below) and headed for American shores late this year. Now UnwiredView has spotted what appears to be the same phone, headed for AT&T at an unknown date. The E970 (final name unknown) showed up in a recent benchmark with some specs along for the ride.
BriefMobile spotted the latest of The Now Network's new devices and got a candid photo of the LG Eclipse 4G LTE that leaves nothing to the imagination. The flagship-level device is expected to his retailers in the latter half of this year.
Optimus 4X HD and the new Optimus LTE2, BriefMobile has spotted what they're calling the LS970, a previously unknown LG model with some super high-end components. Chief among these is a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, which we can only assume is the much-anticipated Krait - the source identifies it as the APQ8064 chipset.
