Lenovo CEO is open to the idea of buying BlackBerry

This isn't the firs time we've heard scattered rumors regarding the extremely popular PC maker Lenovo buying BlackBerry, but today their CEO made a few remarks that has the rumors swirling again. Previously RIM, now known as BlackBerry could be a potential target for Lenovo to buyout, and their CEO said an acquisition “could possibly make sense.”

Lenovo S920 5.3-inch phablet and S820 smartphone leaks

It looks like the popular PC company Lenovo is aiming to offer a few impressive quad-core smartphones later this year. While we've already seen and were impressed with the Lenovo K900 Intel-powered 5.5-inch smartphone, today a few slightly more budget aimed smartphones have leaked. Both rocking quad-core processors, and one even sports a large 5.3-inch display.

Hands-on with the new Lenovo A- and S-series tablets: Aiming for the Nexus 7

Today here in Barcelona, the folks from Lenovo have announced a trio of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered tablets to take on the market. More importantly, Lenovo wants to take on Google's own Nexus 7 with two aggressively designed and priced 7-inch tablets in their new A-series. Gartner: Q4 2012 was a record making quarter for smartphone sales

The latest Gartner report has been released, this time focusing on smartphone sales for the fourth quarter of 2012. Diving right in, the report notes the quarter as breaking records. In fact, Gartner is reporting that Q4 2012 smartphone sales were up 38.3 percent as compared to Q4 2011. Or in actual numbers for the quarter, Q4 2012 saw smartphone sales of 207.7 million. Anyway, given some of the other recent smartphone sales reports we have seen -- we suspect you can guess which companies are on the top of the list.

Lenovo looking to acquire RIM for Android smartphone push

The PC and laptop manufacturing giant Lenovo has slowly been working their way into the mobile marketplace. While their tablets haven't been a smashing hit, nor have their smartphones, some new products shown off at CES sure were exciting. Today some reports have surfaced that Lenovo could potentially be in the running to acquire RIM, and they might toss the ailing company a nice bid to make things interesting. This would really bolster Lenovo's Android smartphone offerings.

Lenovo K900 Hands-on: Intel Atom and a 5.5-inch 1080p display

Today Lenovo dropped some rather impressive news to the Android world here at CES 2013. The Lenovo K900 is the company’s new hero phone, and is powered by an Intel Atom processor, Android, and a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display. This will be the first Android phone to enjoy Intel's new ATOM processor, and we have some hands-on video below so check it out.
