Vire Launcher offers 3D effects and real-time lighting [Hands-on]

As you all probably know, switching out the launcher for our Android phones is one of the easiest and quickest ways to change and personalize our devices. Today we've been shown an awesome brand new option for Android phones that's currently in beta called Vire Launcher. It has some of the best visuals and animations we've seen yet, is free at the moment, and runs amazingly smooth. Check out our hands-on video below.

Chameleon Launcher for smartphones shown in teaser video

We were given a brief look at the Chameleon Launcher running on smartphones back in early January, however aside from the video, not much was really said in terms of when it could be expected. Apex Launcher updates with new features, fixes force-closing issues

Apex Launcher updated today to version 1.3, bringing with it some new features, including a brand-new force-closing feature where the launcher would force close every time it opened. Okay, that's not really a feature, but it was a problem that arose in the 1.3 update. Apex Launcher has since been updated to 1.3.1 to fix this issue.
