HTC Myst ‘Facebook Phone’ hardware details leak

For those that missed the news late last week, Facebook is preparing something big for our Android smartphones, and are hosting an event this week to show the world. With rumors regarding their own Android OS skin like the Kindle Fire, a Facebook Phone built from the ground up, or even just a Home Launcher. Today however, we have the hardware details on the actual device.

Chameleon Launcher for Phones now available in Google Play

Chameleon originally came to light by way of Kickstarter and as an alternative launcher for tablets. As of today however, the launcher is now publicly available for any and all that want to use it, and also available for tablets as well as smartphones. Yes, Chameleon Launcher for Phones has officially landed in the Google Play Store. No real surprises here, however we do have the breakdown of features, versions and prices.

Chameleon Launcher 2 for smartphones public release coming soon

A teaser video of Chameleon Launcher for smartphones was released back in early-January and while we didn't know when that would be available for users at the time, we do have a bit of good news today. It seems the beta is now available and a non-beta release should be arriving sometime in the next few weeks. That said, lets get into the breakdown of who can use the launcher now, and where you can grab it from.

One of the perks that we have with Android is the ability to customize. Some of those customizations are smaller, and some come in the form of home screen replacement apps. It was just a short while back when we saw Action Launcher, which came by way of Chris Lacy, the developer behind Tweet Lanes. Action Launcher aside though, it looks like the Go Launcher Dev Team has released their latest launcher -- Next Launcher.
