Android Developers YouTube Channel Confirms Ice Cream Sandwich Launch

Well folks, would you look at this. The official Android Developers YouTube channel has now confirmed we will see Android 2.4 (or 4.0) Ice Cream Sandwich detailed at the CTIA Samsung Unpacked event next week. While this isn't a big surprise seeing it from the official channel makes it even more official. We will be seeing the next Nexus and Ice Cream Sandwich next week, and we'll be there live to bring you all the details.

T-Mobile event set for October 12th to celebrate the Amaze 4G and Galaxy S II launch

T-Mobile is wasting no time getting everyone excited about their two new flagship smartphones coming this month. The HTC Amaze 4G and Galaxy S II, both set to launch on October 12th and now T-Mobile is sending out invites for everyone to check them out and celebrate with T-Mobile. Just in time to fight the new iPhone 4S that T-Mobile won't be getting, I'd choose the Galaxy S II either way so I'm not too worried.

T-Mobile prepping stores for a busy “All Hands Day” September 24th

We have heard a few rumors but are now seeing what seems to be a internal document floating around emails at T-Mobile aimed and gearing up the staff for an upcoming event. Details are a bit light still but we are now seeing similar reports to what we original heard rumors about, those are that T-Mobile has some big plans coming later in September, specifically September 24th.

Sony Ericsson Nozomi Flagship Phone may see worldwide launch

The Sony Ericsson team is still alive and kicking and now some new details are claiming we might see the SE Nozomi (aka LT26i/LT26a) handset launch soon. What is even better is this new HD powerhouse smartphone may see a global release according to some leaked information. The SE Nozomi first leaked back a few weeks ago and even though it probably wont have a dual-core processor the rest of the hardware specs sure look impressive.

HTC EVO 3D Bootloader will be Unlocked At Launch Says Rogers Canada

Exciting news coming from Rogers Canada today. They have just said that the EVO 3D will be launching soon and it will in fact have an unlocked bootloader already. You will not have to wait for the HTC update we are all waiting for. HTC recently announced they will be working on unlocking the bootloader for the current HTC Sensation and the EVO 3D and more to follow. It looks like you Canadians wont have to wait for such an update.

Motorola Droid Bionic Launching August 4th?

A recent screen leak is now suggesting that the popular Motorola Droid Bionic may in fact be launching sometime this year. With all the delays and lack of information we were all beginning to wonder if we'd ever see it officially. The latest screen leak is showing a release date of August 4th for the Bionic, that might not be to far away but it sure is late considering they said "Spring" back at CES.

Motorola Atrix coming to Bell Mobility on March 17?

Hands-down the Motorola Atrix was the most impressive cell phone at this year's CES. Being something completely new the table, the game-changing phone has been the talk of the internet. However, we still do not know officially when we will see the device. But, according to a leaked slide, Bell Mobility may launch the device on March 17th.

Motorola Xoom Launching for $699 at Best Buy February 17th

The Xoom was, by far, the best tablet we saw at this year's CES. Earning Best in Show 2011, the powerful tablet will be one of the first devices to ship with Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The launch date and pricing information has been a bit of a blur for those interested and it looks as if we may finally have some ground as to when we will see the much-hyped tablet. According to an internal Best Buy document, the Motorola Xoom will go on sale February 17th. Not only has the date been revealed, the price of the tablet has been pegged to $699. The Xoom will ship with 32GB storage and will it Best Buy stores February 16th with units going on sale the next day. Will you be getting one? LG Optimus 2X Now Available for Pre-Order in Europe

It looks like we're nearing the launch of the ultra powerful LG Optimus 2X in Europe. Expansys, a UK-based online retailer, and Ellos, a Danish retailer, have put the device up for pre-order. The device is listed at £499.99 (~$800) and the company is also offering it for free with a few contracts from Vodafone. Expansys has an expected launch date of March 21, 2011. Also in Europe, Danish store Ellos has the Optimus 2X up for pre-order for just 3599 DKK (~$650). They expect to see the device February 25, but this is just speculation at this time. The launch date for the device on T-Mobile USA is still yet to be announced, but if these international expected launches have any ground, we can expect to see the device in March.
