KitKat, in their ever-evolving attempt to drive Android fans into sheer madness, have released a video today. This video depicts two Androids, one of which is a magician, and teases the other with his tricks. Sound familiar?
Everybody is probably anxious, excited, or even just merely curious to see what Google has prepared for Android 4.4 KitKat. It seems, however, that the latest iteration of the Android platform won't be making an appearance today as rumored but, instead, will be heading out this Friday.
This week Google has been extremely busy updating nearly every major app of theirs for Android. This afternoon we reported on Google Hangouts, an improved card UI-style Gmail, and more, and now we've learned they have just pushed out updates for YouTube and Google Search. I don't know about you guys, but it sounds like they're getting everything ready for an announcement.
This fine Sunday afternoon a series of images have leaked which appear to reveal lots of changes in Android 4.4 KitKat. At this point KitKat has already been confirmed, so all we need now is to actually see it. Android 4.4 KitKat is coming, and coming soon. While we all sit here and patiently await more details from the folks at Google, others are looking around for any sort of indication that a final build is coming soon. Well, today's latest news comes from the Chromium Bug Tracker, which spotted a build of KitKat from just last week.
The wait for Android 4.4 Key Lime Pie has many of us going crazy. So much in fact that Google changed the name of the next version of Android to KitKat, and launched a full fledged KitKat campaign with chocolate galore. While we're all waiting for an announcement from Google, a few eagle-eyed fans at AndroidPolice stumbled on some new Google Keyboard screenshots (from Google themselves) in the Play Store potentially showing us Android 4.4 KitKat.
Google might be keeping a somewhat tight lip about its plans for the launch of Android 4.4, but they can't prevent its partners, or its partners' minions, from divulging its secrets. Such is the case, it seems, of a Nestle employee accidentally spilling the beans in the company's KitKat Facebook page, confirming an October launch for the latest Android iteration.
Earlier this year we showed you guys some neat Android 5.0 concept images by some creative Android lovers before 4.4 KitKat was official, but today we have something even better. A stunning and impressive video has just appeared with a better sense of design and direction in line with Google, and Google Now, and it has us pretty excited. Even if it's only a fake fan-made concept video.
This afternoon we're getting our first look at the LG Nexus 5 out and in the wild. Well, in the wild aside from the accidentally leaked image from Google's Android 4.4 KitKat statue unveiling earlier this month. A few videos and a trio of images have leaked, and we're getting some terrible video and our first solid look in pictures of the front and rear of the new smartphone.
