Samsung Galaxy S II Jelly Bean updated delayed til February

It looks like official updates for Samsung's highly popular Galaxy S II to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean have been delayed. We can't technically call it delayed since it wasn't announced, but previous reports had them coming before the end of the year and then delayed into early 2013. Back in December we mentioned they'd arrive in early 2013, and now reports have surfaced claiming the updates will start in February.

Samsung Galaxy S III getting OTA update for Exynos exploit and more

Today we're hearing Samsung is pushing a bug fix update out to their Galaxy S III in the UK. Back in December a potentially huge issue was discovered in many of Samsung's smartphones and popular devices like the Galaxy S III, Note II, and many others. The issue was found inside the Exynos 4 processor kernel basically giving developers, hackers, and potentially malware jerks full access to the device with ease.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Jelly Bean update arrives for some

We have some good news for many of you Samsung Galaxy Tab owners this holiday season. It looks like Samsung has finished putting their finishing touches on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Tab 2. New reports are coming in that the Tab 2 7-inch has started receiving the update to Jelly Bean in multiple regions over the past few days. What's even better is how similar it looks to the Nexus 7 now.

Galaxy S III spotted in Samsung Kies

If you're an Android modder and you've had even a fleeting relationship with Samsung hardware, odds are pretty good that you've run across Kies, the company's desktop syncing and software flashing app. Kies keeps a database of all current Samsung Android devices, and you'll never guess what's just popped into it. Or maybe you will, since leaks seem to falling from the sky on this one: the Galaxy S III. Or more appropriately, the Galaxy S3, since that's what the phone is labelled in the application.
