Key Lime Pie here soon from Google. There's no question they're hard at work on the next major release, possibly set for later this year, and today we're seeing some interesting tidbits on the Kernel side.
Nexus 5 smartphone, as long as recent rumors and the tipster both are correct. We've heard a Moto Nexus 5 is coming, from a very reliable source, but before that it was all talk about LG. The folks from TechTastic, who have been accurate with many Samsung and LG rumors in the past are delivering the first photo today.
here a few weeks, and we're already starting to see signs of the next version by Google. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was announced and released two weeks ago by Google on their new Nexus 7 tablet, but we're also expecting to see the next major update to Android this year. That being the "K" release.
Google has been a long one. After initially expecting it to debut at Google I/O last month only to be denied any such details, we're all left wondering what they have in store, and when. While Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is the next version we'll see, likely this month, some truly amazing fan UI concepts have us craving that Key Lime Pie.
Google I/O came and went without an announcement of a new and improved OS, and that rumored June 10th Android 4.3 Jelly Bean reveal never happened. So now we're all left wondering what is next, and when. While we still expect Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to arrive soon, new sources claim Android 5.0 KLP will debut in early October.
Google Editions' but a true Nexus smartphone. Obviously they are hard at work with Motorola on the X, as confirmed last night, and even today confirmed the Nexus program is still fully under way. So what will we see next, and will it be the LG Nexus 5?
Google I/O 2013 is less than a week away at this point. The conference runs from May 15th through the 17th and will hopefully bring plenty of goodies for Android users. While there is still some question as to what will be shown and announced, we do know that Google will be running things a little bit different this year. The Google I/O schedule was released earlier in the month and it shows just one keynote. The keynote will run for a few hours on the morning of May 15th and this will be where our immediate attention is focused. The Android Community team will be on-site to bring you the latest, however as we recently saw with the release of the Google I/O 2013 app, these events will also be streamed for those not able to attend.
Google will call it, and what features we can expect to see. Talk of Key Lime Pie, Android 5.0, and everything else in between. Lately however, new reports and details have started to surface leading us to believe we won't see Key Lime Pie, and instead Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will be the star of Google I/O next month.
Key Lime Pie. Google has yet to say when they would be making an announcement for Key Lime Pie, however based on previous history, it seems fairly safe to think that talk will happen in May during Google I/O. For those who may not be as familiar with those dates, Google I/O will begin on May 15 and run through May 17.
