Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Android 4.3 update now official

Earlier promises from Samsung had the Android 4.3 update beginning for the Galaxy S4 in October. And well, it looks like they are going to be keeping to that schedule. Samsung has begun rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S4 (model GT-I9505). Just to clarify, the I9505 is the international model. Or in other words, those with a carrier branded Galaxy S4 likely still have some time to wait.

T-Mobile HTC One Android 4.3 update expected mid-week

The Android 4.3 HTC One update has been rolling out for those in the US recently. The update has already arrived for those carrying an AT&T branded handset and was later confirmed for those with C Spire. We are still waiting on an official word for Verizon, however it looks like the update is just about ready to arrive for those with T-Mobile.

C Spire HTC One users have an update on the way. Coming by way of the HTC website, the Android 4.3 update has been detailed. C Spire users may want to be on the lookout for an update notification and the update will be arriving as version 2.04.563.3. The changelog for this one is short and to the point; Android 4.3 along with some unspecified bug fixes.

HTC One Android 4.3 Developer Edition ROM posted for download

The HTC One Android 4.3 rollout began earlier in the week with reports of the update already arriving for those in Taiwan. The same day the update began, Jason Mackenzie had taken to Twitter with news about how that same 4.3 update would be heading to the Developer Edition model of the One. Well, that update arrived yesterday and in fact, HTC has gone a step further and also released the files on the Developer Center website.

CyanogenMod Privacy Guard updated and merged with CM10.2

Google introduced a feature called 'AppOps' along with Android 4.3 and as such, it looks like CyanogenMod has something similar. In terms of Cyanogen, the feature is called Privacy Guard and while this is not yet available for all users, that appears as if that will soon be changing. In short, Cyanogen has updated Privacy Guard and also announced the new features have been merged into the early CM10.2 builds.

HTC talks Android 4.3 for the One

It would appear as if some HTC One users will begin getting the Android 4.3 update next week. The details have been shared by Jason Mackenzie, President of HTC USA who has recently taken to Twitter with some basic details on terms of the update for those in the US and Canada. And it looks like those in Canada will be getting the update a bit sooner.
