Samsung hits Apple with mobile processor price increase

With Samsung and Apple currently waging a patent battle across the globe, it's easy to understand that the business deals between the two companies are a little shaky at the moment. Apple has been slowly trying to replace Samsung as a supplier of its parts for iDevices, but now Samsung is fighting back. A new report from MarketWatch claims that Samsung is charging Apple a 20% premium for its mobile processor chips these days.

Steve Wozniak on Samsung-Apple verdict: ‘I don’t agree with it’

Apple and Samsung's high-profile patent case riled up a lot of people on both sides of the argument, and today legendary Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak gave his take on the whole tussle. In a new interview with Bloomberg, Wozniak said that he doesn't agree with the decision. He also said that he thinks companies should just share patents with each other, which would allow for the development of the best devices possible.

Samsung Galaxy Note II vs iPhone 5

Today Apple unveiled their newly redesigned iPhone 5 to the world and the first thing that came to my mind was the Galaxy Note II. Obviously the Galaxy S III is a great device to compare it to as well, but the Galaxy Note II and the iPhone 5 are the latest and greatest from both companies. Samsung plays offense, will sue Apple if they release an LTE iPhone

Just when we thought it was almost over, we realize the party has only just started. New reports today are clearly stating that while Samsung might have lost the battle, in the end they'll win the war. According to the Korean Times Samsung holds just over 10% of all 4G LTE (long term evolution) patents and is prepared to play some offense of their own in the courtroom.

Samsung found guilty across the board – fined over 1 billion dollars

Things surely aren't looking good for Samsung right about now. As I'm sure you're all aware the lawsuit between Samsung and Apple is currently going through the final verdict stages. After a 3 week lawsuit and hours of deliberation the jury has found Samsung "guilty" for all 21 phones brought forward, but not on the Galaxy Tab line. More details below.

Google kicked from iPhone again with YouTube removal

Today some rather interesting news has just hit the web regarding Apple and their iPhone going after Google again. This week Apple has released their latest beta for iOS 6 -- the OS version that will grace their next iPhone. Along with the new release is the complete absence of YouTube. Google's obviously popular application has been completely removed from iOS for the first time since the original iPhone debut in 2007.
