Samsung announces first 128 GB memory based on UFS 2.0 spec

Mobile CPUs and GPUs have becoming faster and, with the introduction of LPDDR4, so is RAM. That leaves internal storage or flash memory as the bottleneck of a device's performance. Well, not anymore, at least if Samsung's promises are to be believed. The manufacturer has just revealed a memory chip that is claimed to be the industry's first 128 GB capacity flash storage that adheres to the not exactly new Universal Flash Storage 2.0 standard that promises SSD speeds at the power consumption level of eMMC.

doubleTwist Will Support Internal Storage Soon

If you have an HTC Incredible or Samsung Galaxy S, you will find that currently doubleTwist doesn’t support files that are stored on your internal memory. This will change soon according to doubleTwist. Their app is currently being updated to take advantage of handsets with internal storage.

Droid 2, Spotted in The Wild

If the upcoming keyboard-less Motorola Droid X isn’t your cup of tea, Verizon has you covered with the next incarnation of the Droid. This time around the Droid 2 was spotted at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA). Gizmodo had a spy planted at the event and he was willing to give us all his first impressions of the device.

Droid Xtreme Pictures Leaked

The Droid Xtreme will like be the successor to the original Droid. There’s been rumors around the web that says Verizon plans on releasing two Android based devices next month. Samsung Galaxy A Android phone now available in South Korea

South Korea is getting a lot of top notch Android devices from many different manufacturers. Samsung has just released their Android powered Galaxy A on SK Telecom today. Although, the CPU is a bit toned down from what we originally thought it would ship with. There’s still no word on how much this will cost.
