The updates continue to pour in, this time, according to a tweet, Virgin Mobile USA will be updating their Samsung Intercept to Android 2.2 Froyo. The update will come "sometime this spring," and with it, Intercept users will finally get theirs hands on features that many users have been enjoying for quite some time.
Sprint today has announced via its support forums that owners of the Samsung Intercept should be seeing Android 2.2 Froyo available for download soon. Sprint has started to push out the update which should be available for all users in the coming days.
Samsung Intercept users have been patiently waiting the arrival of Android 2.2 Froyo. Now being the second to newest operating system we should see it hit a few more devices before the focus turns to Gingerbread early next year. According to a leaked update sheet, we should be seeing the update beginning to be pushed to Intercept users starting December 17th.
