Google patent wants to turn your conversations into comic relief

Riding on the popularity of comic strip generating services like Bitstrip and the wealth of funny conversations running amok over the Internet, Google has filed for a patent that practically combines the two trends into one. This patent will try to turn those priceless exchanges into comic strips for sharing with friends, family, and complete strangers.

LG to showcase chatty smart appliances at CES 2014

It seems that the smart and communicative smart appliances of the future is just around the corner, if LG's lineup makes it to the market soon. BBM will soon be a pre-installed app on select Android devices

It seems BlackBerry is going to go the preinstalled route with BBM. Coming by way of a recently issued press release, BlackBerry has said the BBM messaging app will "soon come preinstalled on a variety of Android based smartphones from leading OEMs." The key here though, more than the OEMs, having BBM preinstalled will be more dependent on the market.
