Alcatel One Touch Hero unveiled with 6-inch 1080p display, stylus, e-ink case

Alcatel has had a few device announcements coming out of IFA so far. The latest is the One Touch Hero which will be arriving with a 6-inch 1080p display and Android 4.2 along with a handful of accessories including a stylus, pico projector and e-ink case. Alcatel has said the One Touch Hero will be available beginning in October and in the meantime, they have offered details on the specs and other accessories.

Sony QX10 and QX100 “Lens-Style Camera” details leak in full

We recently saw the press release leak for the Sony Zperia Z1 (Honami) smartphone. That leak confirmed the specs for the handset and it looks like another Sony press release has leaked. This other is for the QX10 and QX100 "Lens-Style Cameras" and has come by way of Sony Alpha Rumors. That being said, we now have details to include the specs and pricing as well as a rough timeframe for release.

Sony Xperia Z1 Honami specs confirmed in press release leak

LG G Pad 8.3 gets official with 1920 x 1200 display and Android 4.2.2

Early details of the LG G Pad 8.3 had been a mix of official and rumor. There had been some leaks and speculation and there was also some teasing coming direct from LG. And while the official unveiling was expected during IFA, LG has offered a surprise announcement ahead of the show. Simply put, LG has announced the G Pad 8.3 and has said the tablet will be available in "key markets" during the fourth quarter of the year.

Archos offers a pre-IFA sneak peek

Archos had already talked about plans to unveil several new devices in the remainder of the year and it looks like IFA is going to be the place that will be happening. Basically, it looks like Archos is giving a sneak peek as to what they will be showing during IFA. Coming by way of a recently issued press release, Archos has offered some details on how they plan to use their Android "expertise" to build upon their 3G connected product lines.
