Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi finally getting Ice Cream Sandwich in the US

Good news from Samsung this afternoon folks. After the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi tablet started getting upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich last month in multiple parts of the world, it looks like they are finally rolling it out here in the US. They didn't get it out in July as promised, but we'll take it.

Motorola RAZR and MAXX international models getting ICS

Starting today Motorola has begun pushing out an update to their international models of the Motorola RAZR and RAZR MAXX. After hearing reports from GSMArena that the update was starting today, Motorola's European Facebook page announced it was rolling out to "select users" this afternoon.

Toshiba Thrive tablet Android 4.0 ICS update now available

Good news for the few rocking a Toshiba Thrive tablet. Their 10-inch model is finally getting the much awaited update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Toshiba is a little behind on their initial announcement dates for the update, but at least it's finally available. More details after the break.

Motorola DROID 4 update incoming – Android 4.0 ICS on the way

If you're a DROID 4 owner and have been wondering when your QWERTY keyboard packing phone would see Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, that might be soon. We are getting multiple reports that in the usual fashion, Motorola is sending out invites for feedback members to try a new update for the DROID 4. Most likely this is Ice Cream Sandwich.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus ICS update rolling out

Earlier this week we confirmed that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi model was getting upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but only in the UK and Italy. Today however it looks like the Tab 7.0 Plus WiFi has also joined the list. Sadly it still doesn't appear to be rolling out in the US, but should be soon.

HTC Rezound Android 4.0 ICS update rolling out now

It's finally time for all the HTC Rezound customers to rejoice and enjoy the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense UI 3.6 for their device. Today Verizon made the update official and it appears to already be rolling out to users. If you've been waiting through all the leaks and delays the official update is now available.

We have some tasty frozen treat news for the folks rocking EVO's this afternoon. It looks like HTC has finally made their way through the device chain, and is now upgrading multiple EVO's to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. You won't get Sense UI 4.0 like the HTC One line of phones, but the upgrade should still be rather exciting.

Samsung's original Galaxy Tab 10.1 is finally getting Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich starting today. While it's been available with CM9 for months and months, this is the official update from Samsung themselves. According to SamMobile it started rolling out to the WiFi model today in the UK and Italy.

Archos 9.7 Carbon Android 4.0 tablet available now for $229

Archos is finally ready to start shipping their latest budget Android tablet offering. Recently announced as the 97 Carbon, this 9.7-inch single-core Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet is finally available today. It might not be the best around, but it's a decent little budget offering.
