A new Huawei Honor is coming although it has remained a mystery until some new device was sighted at TENAA getting several approvals. This only means one thing: a new Honor smartphone will soon be announced and made available not only for China but also for other emerging markets.

Huawei Ascend Mate 8 launch possibly teased, Berlin event in September

People have been waiting for Huawei’s 2015 flagship for a while now, so most online pundits are reading into this teaser poster for an event in Berlin on September 2nd as the possible launch of the Huawei Ascend Mate 8. The teaser poster was publicized by Huawei in one of its social media accounts, and now the intarwebs is rife with rumors of this flagship.

Huawei Honor 7 coming to Europe very soon

The month of June ended with Huawei launching the Honor 7. The company's latest flagship phone were quickly sold out. Within 12 hours, the Chinese manufacturer received two million pre-orders. That's about 200,000 units per hour and 9 million after one week. It's such an impressive milestone by Huawei and so the next question a lot of people are asking now is if the phone's coming to Europe. You guessed it right. The answer is a big 'Yes'.

Android Lollipop (Preview) now available for Huwaei Ascend Mate 2

If you're a proud owner of the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 and you've been waiting like forever to update your smartphone to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, well then you'd have to wait a little longer. But the good news is that the Lollipop preview is now available for your device, so at least that's something. The bad news is that it will take a little more effort on your part to enjoy at least some semblance of the major update, as you would have to flash it out yourself.

Android top in the US but not Europe; Galaxy S6 sales boost Samsung

We've been wondering if the good reviews of Samsung's new flagship, the Galaxy S6 will translate to sales to help boost the previous smartphone champs. The number (at least from Kantar) are in, and it looks like they have indeed helped the OEM regain top spot in the US, becoming the third best-selling smartphone in the country, just after the iPhone 6 and Samsung's previous flagship, the Galaxy S5. Android has also continued to regain the top spot in the US when it comes to sales, but in Europe's big five, it's still a no go.
