HTC Ville C detailed in leak

For months we had operated under the assumption that the Ville was HTC's internal codename for the One S, now gracing Europe and T-Mobile with its presence. Now a new Ville has popped up in a spec sheet spotted by Brief Mobile. The list details a phone that's nearly identical to the One S (at least internally) with one crucial difference: it's running a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor instead of an S4.

T-Mobile to see HTC Ville, Huawei Prism, and Samsung T769 soon

An internal T-Mobile document has finally been leaked reassuring exposure of a few devices. From the snapshot you'll notice three devices confirmed to launch on their network. Though the devices themselves aren't mentioned in the leak, their accessories are - which is good enough for us. It's also nice to know we should see some official accessories to accompany the devices upon initial release.

HTC makes “Studio” design division under CEO

HTC doesn't look so hot at the moment, at least from a financial point of view. But that doesn't mean they're resting on their laurels. The Taiwanese manufacturer announced a new department, code-named "Studio", which will report directly to CEO Peter Chou. The Studio division (which probably isn't its final name) will be compromised of leading designers and engineers, with the purpose of overcoming some of the company's identified shortcomings in its 2011 devices.

HTC Ville leaks again in new spy photos

HTC just can't keep a lid on its new workhorse model, code-named the HTC Ville. The phone  leaked in render form months ago, then in a surreptitious spy video showed the slinky phone running Ice Cream Sandwich. The Ville has once again popped up before its debut, this time in a series of blurrycam photos from Japanese site Ameblo. They don't show anything we haven't seen before, but the photos confirm the design, including its impressive thinness, a first among HTC's usually chunky smartphones.

Exciting news for HTC fans this morning, as one of the two models expected to debut at Mobile World Congress in February has jumped through the loops of secrecy to grace YouTube. The HTC Ville is one of the Taiwanese manufacturer's "hero" devices for 2012, with impressive specifications, a slim profile and subtle styling. One of the most notable features of the Ville (likely a code name) is that it's rumored to be one of the first HTC phones to reach retail with Ice Cream Sandwich.

HTC Edge rumored for a Mobile World Congress unveil on 2-26

HTC's got something big for Barcelona - they better had, considering their relatively shallow showing at CES. Mobile World Congress beckons, and as various news outlets (including this humble publication right here) receive their invitations for press events, rumors are spreading that HTC will reveal the quad-core Edge in is pre-MWC press conference on February 26th. Also on the docket is the HTC Ville, a slim 8mm slate phone that uses a dual-core 1.5Ghz processor.

HTC Ville headed for T-Mobile, says rumor

If you've been drooling over the leaked renders of the HTC Ville, you'd better have a T-Mobile account, or be willing to get one soon enough. According to PocketNow, the next-generation superphone will make its way to the magenta network in the United States sometime this spring. The Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone is one of HTC's premiere devices for 2012, and expected to raise the bar for its price point. PocketNow did not reveal where they got their information.
