When it comes to charging your gadgets it can be a massive pain in the rear to have to dig around for cables to lug your device in. This is especially true if you charge at a desk or table where the charge cable tends to get knocked behind the desk leaving you to crawl around looking for your cord. For those of you with a HTC Thunderbolt that spend all there time gaming or movie watching over that 4G LTE, Or just love using the Thunderbolt and feel the need for a spare battery for those times in need, it looks like Verizon has it on sale so now is the best time to purchase one. It is listed as the usual $39.99 online but once added to your cart it drops to $19.99. This is the official OEM replacement, not a ebay knock-off.

HTC sales figures for May more than double last years

Sales figures for the highly popular HTC have came out again and I feel like just saying what we have the last three times -- They have gone up, and have gone up fast. HTC has continued to not only beat previous sales records but it looks like they are more than doubling up each year as well. I think they might owe a small piece of that success completely to Android, and when I say small I mean most of it.

The folks at HTC have taken their now-classic form-factor for Androids to another level and have once again proven that their last round of 4.3-inch devices just weren't good enough. Yours truly used the ThunderBolt for months after it was released while other phones were put back in their boxes after a week-long review - did the HTC Sensation 4G carried on T-Mobile suffer the same fate? Or will it go the way of the ThunderBolt, sticking around for weeks and weeks and even beyond that test of time, on into infamy? It's got a dual-core processor, a brand new version of HTC Sense UI over Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and it's running one of the most powerful dual-core processors in the world - chances are pretty good this one's a winner.

HTC Thunderbolt on sale for $99 at Verizon for Valued Customers

From what we are seeing from our friends over at Droid-Life the HTC Thunderbolt and a few other phones at Verizon Wireless are on sale now until June 12th. It looks like Verizon is holding a private sale on many devices for what they are calling "Loyal Customers". This may mean long time subscribers, or multi-line customers but apparently certain people have received emails and texts regarding this sale.

911HTC aka 911Sniper is Down for Everyone (Not Just Me)

Woaaah is me, and whoa is everyone else, because our favorite location for HTC ROMs ninja'ed from who knows where, 911HTC aka 911SnIpEr aka http://www.911htc.com/ is down for the count. We've had a longstanding post count expanding by the day here on Android Community coming from the fellow named 911SnIpEr, from the HTC ThunderBolt System Dump and RUU – Leaked and Gigantic post to the brand new HTC ChaCha and HTC Salsa Leak Final Software Builds. This appears to have come to a crashing halt over the past 24 hours or so as the site is indeed Down for Everyone.

Warning: Leaked HTC Thunderbolt Gingerbread radio may brick your phone

We have seen a few reports about this over the last few days and now it is becoming more official. Apparently the recently leaked Gingerbread 2.3 build for the HTC Thunderbolt has been causing some major issues and hard bricks for certain people. From what we are hearing the radio update in the leaked build has caused a overly large number of Thunderbolt users phones to go into an endless bootloop and currently rom builders like AndIRC have been unable to save these T-Bolts, or figure out what is causing the bricks.
