HTC ThunderBolt System Dump and RUU – Leaked and Gigantic

Take a peek at the three part leak download of the HTC ThunderBolt REE and System Dump for your very own exploration - it's super big and huge and full of sweet junk. You'll have your own look at a batch of elements including a 140MB golf game, VZW items including: BitBop, Nav, MobiTV, Mogstup, Rhapsody, Rockband, Skype, Sling, UStream, VCast Music, and VCast Videos. Then there's a Blockbuster app, Adobe Reader, HTC items by the names of FM Radio, DLNA, and Greader (of which we'd love some more info on, to be sure.) Most of these are the demos, of course, and require you to purchase the full version for full functionality.

HTC ThunderBolt for Verizon Announced at CES 2011

There were plenty of leaks, but the Verizon-branded HTC ThunderBolt is now official, thanks to the wireless carrier's announcement of the device at this year's Consumer Electronics Show. The device is exactly what we've expected it to be, and it will indeed be a 4G-enabled device.

Verizon HTC Thunderbolt 4G leaks again: no HDMI confirmed

Verizon just can't seem to keep the HTC Thunderbolt under wraps until its official debut, which we're expecting tomorrow. The 4G LTE smartphone has shown up in the wild again, this time over at AndroidSPIN, who also took the time to run down the specs. Biggest disappointments? The single-core CPU and absence of HDMI. The Thunderbolt 4G has a 1GHz processor - which scored 1926 in Quadrant - together with 8GB of internal storage, a 32GB microSD in the box, a 4.3-inch display, Android 2.2 and HTC Sense. There's also HTC Maps and Navigation, DLNA support and - they believe - an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera. Their source criticized the battery life, however, which we guess is a side-effect of accessing 4G speeds.

AT&T HTC Inspire 4G leaks ahead of HSPA+ launch

A leaked advert has not only added to the Verizon HTC Thunderbolt 4G LTE smartphone evidence, but previewed a new AT&T handset that's also being described as 4G-capable. The AT&T HTC Inspire 4G was spotted in an advert by Android Central in Rolling Stone magazine, though right now there are no specs attached. However, the handset looks very similar to HTC's Desire HD, though we're guessing that - as T-Mobile USA does - AT&T is referring to HSPA+ as "4G" in this context.

HTC Thunderbolt and Samsung SCH-i520 Show up in Verizon System

Reports are dropping that not only has the HTC Thunderbolt (SCU ADR6400) shown up in Verizon's system, but the lovely Samsung SCH-i520 has as well. Both of these phones are being reported as 4G LTE capable, and the newest dummy images are showing an 8 Megapixel camera. Hot! You can take a look at the dark, devious photo we were sent via email below, or you can check out this amazing concoction of the two phones up here. Check it out!
