T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G performance and software update rolling out now
Who loves updates and performance improvements? Today that is exactly what T-Mobile and HTC have lined up for the HTC Sensation 4G. Apparently the update started pushing out to users yesterday so we should be seeing this hit handsets today and over the course of the next few weeks. Sadly this is not Ice Cream Sandwich -- you didn't think it would come that fast did you? We do have some awesome improvements to detail below so stay tuned.

HTC Sensation 4G gets twice the battery life with Mugen Power
The HTC Sensation smartphone has been around for a while now. We reviewed the smartphone back in May when it first launched. If you use the Sensation and would like to have more run time, you can get a LOT more battery life if you swap the battery inside your device with a new offering from Mugen Power. Mugen Power has a new battery for the HTC Sensation that is available now.

HTC Sensation 4G CyanogenMod nightly builds coming shortly
I've been seeing a bit of comments as of late from many different places regarding the HTC Sensation and its CyanogenMod 7 status. Today I figured I'd give you all a small update to let you all know that it is coming, and soon. While technically I don't know this for sure, the main man behind CM7 on the Sensation is Keyan Mobli (aka kmobs) and he's been updating us occasionally on Google+ and the past few days we've received good news.

PowerSkin for HTC Sensation 4G and ThunderBolt Review [Video]
For those of you wishing to get a whole heck of a lot of battery life out of their smartphones, your time has arrived. If there's one system that's working right now that, besides is obvious added bulk, will make your smartphone into a easy day's worth of workhorse at least, that being PowerSkin rubberized case and smartphone battery charger attachment. What PowerSkin offers you is a bit of protection and one whole heck of a lot of additional battery power in the form of a constant charger. You plug the microUSB in the slot, slip the smartphone in the skin/case, and you're on your way. You're able to go about your day as per normal then, charging the charger and the device up with a new port that you'll see coming out the side of the charger, and a powering you shall go!

HTC Sensation ROM provides 1.56GHz Overclock
It appears that the developer known as mike1986 has created a lovely new ROM for the HTC Sensation specifically which bumps the device's processor speed up to 1.56 GHz. While this device's original dual-core processor speed was clocked at 1.2GHz, this ROM provides the device with the original stock speed of its MSN8660 chipset, that being 1.51GHz by default, here controlled automatically by built-in O/C Daemon. In addition to this speed boost, you'll find that there's only speed boosts and power optimizations across the board: that means your device will look and feel exactly the same, it'll just be BETTER!

HTC Sensation 2 Special Edition with Beats Audio details leak
Yes you read that title right, what we are hearing this evening is HTC is preparing to launch a HTC Sensation 2 SE or special edition with Beats Audio by Dr. Dre. First off I'm going to throw this instantly in the rumor mill for a few reasons. First being the Sensation hasn't been out long enough to replace it, second being why call it special edition if all future HTC handsets are going to have the Beats Audio technology inside, just a thought.

It appears they now have released even more today and they are some of their most popular phones.
