HTC Sensation 4G ICS update data issues fixed in settings

The long-awaited update to Ice Cream Sandwich often brings a few teething troubles with it, and such is the case with T-Mobile's HTC Sensation 4G. After the scheduled Android 4.0 update yesterday, some users found that their HSPA+ ("4G") data wasn't working, much to their display. Luckily, TmoNews discovered an easy work-around: head into the settings menu, tap "Network", then switch it to WCDMA/GSM Auto. You should see the little "4G" icon reappear when in a coverage area.

T-Mobile’s “free” tethering ends with ICS upgrades

HTC Sensation 4G owners were thrilled to find out that their Ice Cream Sandwich update was finally coming from T-Mobile this week - tomorrow, in fact. But PCMag spotted a frustrating caveat in the official support document: you won't be able to use the "4G Hotspot" function for free anymore. Users who wish to share their connection will have to fork over $14.95 a month for the official tethering plan, allowing them to "officially" use the WiFi hotspot or USB data tether.

Official: T-Mobile Sensation 4G ICS update coming May 16th

T-Mobile's been pretty sparing when it comes to firm news on Ice Cream Sandwich updates, but their streak of silence ends today. The carrier announced that it intends to update the HTC Sensation 4G to Android 4.0 on May 16th, just two days from now. They also stated that the newer Amaze 4G would be getting its own update "in the coming weeks". We'd previously heard that it was scheduled for mid-June.

HTC Sensation 4G free as T-Mobile prepares for Galaxy S III

T-Mobile has a great deal going for their popular HTC Sensation 4G smartphone that you won't want to miss out on. They are offering up the Sensation 4G completely free as a web-only special, but the deal ends on May 3rd. Offering a $199 web-only discount brings this phone to you completely free with a new contract, but does the date reveal their plans?

T-Mobile schedules ICS updates for Galaxy S II, Sensation 4G and Amaze 4G

T-Mobile customers are no doubt feeling a little left out of the Ice Cream Sandwich party - most of the carrier's high-end phones don't even have leaked versions of Android 4.0 available. But according to an internal leak spotted by TmoNews, three of the biggest players for T-Mobile will be getting Ice Cream Sandwich in the near future. The internal screenshot shows the Samsung Galaxy S II getting ICS on May 14th, with HTC's Sensation 4G and Amaze 4G (which already has an ICS leak) following on June 16th.

T-Mobile confirms ICS updates for Amaze 4G and Sensation 4G coming soon

Today T-Mobile has announced and confirmed that their impressive HTC Amaze 4G and the popular Sensation 4G will both be getting updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Obviously we all expected these to be among the first updated, and HTC themselves have confirmed this already too. Sadly while we did hear a confirmation from T-Mobile themselves, an expected date was no where to be found.
