The Rezound received a small update back in February that was titled as a "device enhancement" update, and today we're getting another. One, now we're getting additional details regarding a few of their already available and popular smartphones. Both the HTC One S from T-Mobile, and Verizon's HTC Rezound have updates rolling out today. Sadly neither are Jelly Bean, but we have the details below.
HTC have been on a roll lately regarding updates for older devices. We've been seeing multiple HTC smartphones get updates, and today can confirm a few over on Verizon Wireless will soon see OTA updates too. Both the HTC Rezound and the DROID Incredible 2 have what HTC calls a "device enhancement" software improvement that should be arriving soon.

Although a few already have, many are still patiently waiting and they've even confirmed the HTC ThunderBolt will see Android 4.0 ICS sometime in July. According to HTC all the devices should be updated to ICS by July.
HTC Rezound and the Motorola DROID RAZR, DROID RAZR MAXX and DROID 4 will all have their latent GSM capabilities switched on this summer, with voice roaming possible in "more than 220 countries" and data in "more than 205". Exact dates were not given.

Rezound get a leaked official Ice Cream Sandwich build, but it's been so long that another is apparently ready as well. The latest Android 4.0 version is build 3.13.605.7, and the folks over at Android Police have hosted it for download. Unfortunately there are a few issues for would-be flashers: you'll need a stock ROM and a locked bootloader or an S-OFF device. Those of you who used HTC's official bootloader unlock will have to sit tight or find a ROM Update Utility (RUU).
HTC Rezound, Motorola DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX got something of a false alarm a few weeks ago, when Best Buy claimed that these Verizon phones were getting Ice Cream Sandwich updates. The upgrade days came and went, but Verizon, Motorola and HTC remained steadfast that they'd be updated... eventually. Now an internal Verizon screenshot shows that the RAZRs' testing period will end on May 17th, and the Rezound will end even sooner, on May 7th.
