HTC Velocity gets ICS update in Australia

It's just raining Ice Cream for Android this week. Telstra customers in Australia are reporting that the HTC Velocity (known as the Vivid in the US and Raider in some other territories) is receiving an over the air update to Android 4.0. This comes at almost the exact same time that Samsung Galaxy S II owners in continental Europe and South Korea are getting their updates. The update includes HTC Sense 4.0 that's found on the new HTC One series, though it's reportedly significantly faster than the previous 3.5 build on the Velocity.

The new HTC Raider codenamed the Holiday is all set to finally hit the shelves and reach our pockets, but with Rogers for now. While we are still waiting for a US launch like the leaks for AT&T suggest, Rogers will be getting this new 4.5" 4G LTE smartphone here shortly, possibly as soon as November 1st.

The HTC Holiday keeps popping up its head for everyone to see and today it has done it again. It was first spotted way back in August after someone sold it on eBay, and since has seen countless leaks. Today was no different and it was spotted in Australia soaking up the sun and running some impressive 4G speeds.

The much rumored HTC Holiday is all set to receive its wings and come to the US now that it has recently cleared the FCC. The Holiday leaked back in August and looked pretty stellar from our point of view. Hopefully this recent FCC filing means it will be headed to AT&T here soon now that they've launched their LTE networks.

Another leaked set of photos has just hit the streets of HTC's upcoming AT&T 4G LTE smartphone known as the HTC Holiday. These aren't the first and most likely wont by the last. We recently saw a nice selection of photos just last week. Latest images are now showing what could be AT&T's 4G LTE network running some speedtests and looking impressive.
