HTC Vertex HD tablet leaks with Tegra 3 quad-core

Some HTC news is starting to pour in this evening, and it all has to do with powerful quad-core processors too. Earlier today we reported HTC was working on another AT&T 4G LTE device only it would feature a a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, and now new reports are surfacing regarding a new tablet. Being called the HTC Vertex HD this 10.1-inch quad-core tablet could be the real deal.

With dual-core smartphones being all the rage right now we can't help but glance ahead at what to expect in the months following CES. Obviously much of the attention has already managed to turn from dual to quad-core smartphones and tablets -- especially in the Android world. While the ASUS Transformer Prime is currently the only NVIDIA Tegra 3 device on the market, it wont be for long. We are now hearing rumors suggesting HTC will be quick on the draw to release some quad-core devices of their own.

And the HTC leaks keep coming. After images of the Edge, Ville and Zeta phones showed up in some leaked images, the HTC Quattro is the latest device to escape from Taiwan. The new 10.1-inch tablet is showcasing the latest quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, according to the anonymous source that leaked the image. Current release date is pegged as some time in 2012, like the other leaks, and may show up at the Mobile World Congress in February.
