Football (soccer) fans are all aflutter as Champions League football for this season officially started just a few hours ago. HTC celebrates Europe’s biggest club competition by announcing their special Champions League edition of their current flagship, the HTC One M8. No, it doesn’t mean that you’ll become as good a football player as Messi or Ronaldo when you have this phone, but it will definitely show other people you’re a true blue football (soccer) fan.

T-Mobile rolls out updates for Galaxy S4, both HTC Ones

T-Mobile is on a roll, pardon the pun. It has just released firmware updates for the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One (M7) and the HTC One M8. Though these updates aren't exactly earth-shattering, they do bring in much needed security fixes, particularly from Android 4.4.4, and one potentially interesting new feature.

Verizon to bring Android 4.4.3 update to HTC One (M7)

Verizon promised subscribers that they would be bringing the latest Android 4.4.3 update to the HTC One (M8) sometime mid August. Well they made an announcement on Twitter through their VP for Product Management, Mo Versi, that they are bringing the update, but not to their current flagship yet, but for the older HTC One (M7).

This update has been floating around for a while now, with Verizon actually hinting that their update to Android 4.4.3 might come out today. As it happens, it looks like T-Mobile HTC One M8 users will be the first to get the update, as Verizon says it needs to “re-spin” the update and might delay the rollout.

What’s more premium than premium? Well, considering that the HTC One M8 is probably the best Android phone you can get out there (OnePlus One users might argue that, but nevertheless), a limited edition offer on HTC’s flagship might be the only improvement you can get barring a next-gen upgrade. So HTC gives you a limited editiom HTC One M8, with which it worked with Singapore-based art studio PHUNK to give it an… err, funky look.

HTC One M8 and its Duo Cam technology now allows you to do something like that to a certain extent with their newest feature, social editing. This means your friends and loved ones who have access to photos taken with the Duo Cam can now tweak it according to what they want to actually look at in your picture.
