HTC DROID Incredible 4G hits the FCC, coming to Verizon soon

Another HTC smartphone passed through the FCC today rocking those Verizon bands. Most likely this is the recently rumored and leaked HTC DROID Incredible 4G that we've seen a few pictures of floating around. HTC recently announced the One series and this doesn't appear to be a part of it, or Verizon didn't want to join -- we can't know for sure. According to the FCC something is on the way.

Android Community Weekly: September 3, 2011

To start off September, we have a massive amount of tech news to present in this issue of Android Community Weekly! Sunday, the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE were officially announced. Later on, we ran across a recently initiated build of CyanogenMod 7 for none other than the HP TouchPad. Which build will have full functionality first? CM7 or the Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) port that’s also in the works?

HTC Incredible Android 2.3 Gingerbread now rolling out

I must say that was pretty fast HTC. Just a few short days ago they mentioned the Thunderbolt and Incredible would both get 2.3 Gingerbread in September. Now two or so days later it appears the Incredible is already getting the OTA update because it's hitting handsets right this minute. If you are confused, the update was started back on the 15th but was quickly delayed for a few bugs HTC or Verizon found.

HTC Vigor Pictures Finally Leak

Say hello to the HTC Vigor. This bad boy pictured below is the new HTC Vigor that will be landing on Verizon sometime early October if leaks are correct. This will be the replacement to the HTC Thunderbolt. Yes the Vigor will be that awesome. Although at first look this looks very similar to the HTC Incredible with the weird backing and red accents, just saying.

Cool Verizon spot races onto TVs

If you're an Indy racing fan, Verizon has a cool new service that will help you keep up on your favorite racing team ... Team Verizon! The spot is for the Indy Car Mobile app, which follows the IZOD Indy Car Series. With the app, users can listen to in car audio, keep track of races with leader boards, highlights, and even special tweets from the drivers (I hope while not racing!). Upcoming features to include live in-car camera for Verizon sponsored drivers, press conference streaming and Indy Car Nation exclusive content. According to the YouTube page, the app currently follows Indy racers Will Power, Helio Castroneves & Ryan Briscoe.

HTC Incredible S blushes on Danish site

There's a listing of a sexy HTC Incredible S in Red trim on the site of a Danish electronics retailer. Aside from it's Fire Engine red paint scheme, there's nothing different from it's official variant. That also means it will have to be purchased unsubsidized, although there's no mention of price or availability on the site listing. The unsubsidized price hovers around $550 here in the US. And chances are, though, that users in Europe will be using the Euro-friendly GSM version we reported on last month.

HTC Incredible S brings “Inside Out” design to Europe

Until now, Verizon has been the only way to get the HTC Incredible, but all that changes with the HTC Incredible S. HTC's third "evolutionary" device launched at MWC 2011 this week, the Incredible S keeps the angular "Inside Out" styling but switches the CDMA radio for Euro-friendly GSM. There's still a 4-inch display, 8-megapixel autofocus camera and dual-LED flash, but now they're joined by a front-facing webcam. Under the hood is Qualcomm's 1GHz single-core MSM8225, just like in the HTC Desire S, though at launch it will be running Android 2.2 Froyo with HTC Sense; the company says it plans an update to Android 2.4 Gingerbread "early on." Release is expected in early Q2 2011, with pricing tba. [gallery] Press Release:
