HTC One X full specs leaked with dual-shutter camera
The HTC One X, formerly the Edge/Endeavor, has been one of the most exposed "secret projects" in recent memory. With all the renders, specs, names, and photos leaked, we though there's be nothing left to know by the time HTC unveils it tomorrow in Barcelona. Not so: FullGSM got their hands on what appears to be the full product sheep. Aside from what appear to be press shots, there's nothing really new - except for a "dual shutter" camera, the purpose of which is to take full 8MP stills while recording video at the same time.

First HTC One X press photo leaked
If you're already sick of HTC's new flagship smartphone days before its predicted official unveiling, you might want to skip this story. PocketNow got their hands on what appears to be the very first press photo of the new HTC One X (nee Edge, Endeavor) before its Mobile World Congress debut on Sunday. It lines up pretty closely with concept renders, which are all we've seen thus far. If there was any doubt that this one was headed for retail soon, it's pretty much dispelled at this point. This one is headed for Mobile World Congress - note the "Barcelona" location in the weather widget.

We've been drooling over the newly-christened HTC One X (formerly the Endeavor and/or Edge) for months now, due in no small part to its ultra high-end rumored specifications. Paul "Modaco" O'Brien has got a mostly complete list of specifications from a tipster, including all the nitty gritty details you've been wondering about. First of all, the shiniest jewel in the One X's crown is a quad-core Tegra 3 processor from Nvidia, which should help the phone rocket to the top of the speed charts if nothing else. The Tegra 3 runs at 1.5Ghz, and is supplimented with a full gigabyte of RAM.

We've been hearing a lot regarding HTC's upcoming smartphones slated to be unveiled in a few weeks at Mobile World Congress, and with good reason. They'll be debuting their new and first quad-core device in what we are now hearing will be called the HTC One X. Previous reports and leaks called this phone the HTC Edge and Endeavor but the official retail name will be the One X.

HTC Endeavor RUU leaks with hints of HTC Speak, a Siri rival
Over the weekend a leak for the upcoming HTC Endeavor (HTC Edge) was made available for download and along with it were tons of goodies and surprises. The RUU contained tons of images of HTC Sense UI 4.0 but what is even more interesting is the HTC Speak app that was also included. Possibly hinting that HTC is bringing a speaking and voice-like application to their devices that will rival Apple's Siri.

Nvidia schedules Tegra 3 event at Mobile World Congress
Nvidia's doubling down on its already successful mobile push with a full press event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The gaming giant and lately up-and-coming system on a chip provider has been making waves with its Tegra platform, most recently the quad-core Tegra 3. Nvidia promises a sneak preview of new devices, presumable ones that will be unveiled at the conference itself. The event will be held during MWC in late February and early March, and Android Community will be on hand to cover it live.

HTC makes “Studio” design division under CEO
HTC doesn't look so hot at the moment, at least from a financial point of view. But that doesn't mean they're resting on their laurels. The Taiwanese manufacturer announced a new department, code-named "Studio", which will report directly to CEO Peter Chou. The Studio division (which probably isn't its final name) will be compromised of leading designers and engineers, with the purpose of overcoming some of the company's identified shortcomings in its 2011 devices.

HTC's got something big for Barcelona - they better had, considering their relatively shallow showing at CES. Mobile World Congress beckons, and as various news outlets (including this humble publication right here) receive their invitations for press events, rumors are spreading that HTC will reveal the quad-core Edge in is pre-MWC press conference on February 26th. Also on the docket is the HTC Ville, a slim 8mm slate phone that uses a dual-core 1.5Ghz processor.

HTC quad-core Tegra 3 devices coming soon after CES
With dual-core smartphones being all the rage right now we can't help but glance ahead at what to expect in the months following CES. Obviously much of the attention has already managed to turn from dual to quad-core smartphones and tablets -- especially in the Android world. While the ASUS Transformer Prime is currently the only NVIDIA Tegra 3 device on the market, it wont be for long. We are now hearing rumors suggesting HTC will be quick on the draw to release some quad-core devices of their own.
