HTC DROID Incredible 4G update adds global roaming and ISIS support

Today news has arrived that the folk at Verizon and HTC are sending out a quick update to their mildly popular HTC DROID Incredible 4G smartphone as we speak. It looks like DROID Inc 4G owners will be getting a small update that fixes a few bugs, adds some new features, and will bring support for ISIS Mobile payments -- the Google Wallet competitor. HTC's new DROID Incredible 4G LTE smartphone has finally received a confirmed release date. After Verizon and HTC announced it back in May and stated it was "coming within the next few weeks," it will finally be available to Verizon customers on July 5th for just $149.

Remember the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, or have you been paying too much attention to the Galaxy S III instead? HTC and Verizon announced the Incredible back early last month during CTIA and said it would be available "in the coming weeks," but that was the last we heard. New rumors today are pointing towards July 5th for the release date.

Remember that other new HTC device that isn't the One X or the One S? The HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE by Verizon? (yea long name) Well apparently it has made its way to the hands of a lucky few because we now have a leaked video showing off just how fast this mid-range device really is over on Big Red -- and more than just the network. It doesn't have a quad-core under the hood but it still seems to be chugging along just fine. See the video after the break.

Verizon DROID Incredible 4G launching June 21, Galaxy S III on 28th

Verizon should be having a pretty solid month of June according to some new sources that have come forward as of late. We've heard various reports as to when the Galaxy S III would arrive on Verizon, some stating the first week of July but new details have the release date aiming at June 28th. Then that other phone, the DROID Incredible 4G LTE that we seem to have forgot about. It will also be here later this month if rumors hold on.

It's so nice to look at a new gadget and see that' it's just within your price range and/or a really good deal. It's exactly as nice as seeing "after main-in rebate" is nasty. Yes folks, it's 2012, the economy is still in a slump, there are no flying cars and retailers are still fine and dandy with ridiculous mail-in rebates. The new HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is getting one such rebate, $50 off the price of the new phone. The rebate was spotted in an internal Verizon document.

Verizon crushes hopes: No HTC One phones any time soon

The HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE looks like a decent upgrade to the former Incredible phones, but after getting our hands on it at CTIA, we can say it's just not up to par with the One X or One S. If you're holding out for either to come to Verizon in the near future, you can stop waiting. A Verizon representative told PCMag that Verizon currently has no One series phones in the pipeline. You see this? This is my sad face.
