HTC has officially announced the successor to the wildly popular Desire, the HTC Desire S. Still packing a 1GHz single-core Snapdragon processor, now Qualcomm's MSM8255, the Desire S adds a front-facing camera for video calls, together with Android 2.4 Gingerbread. There's also a refresh in terms of physical style, with the Desire S getting a unibody makeover leaving the whole handset a whole lot more purposeful. HTC Sense has gained a few new apps, such as Mirror which, as the name suggests, repurposes the front-facing camera for checking your appearance.
