HTC Desire 310 gets an official unveil

Spotted recently on the HTC China site, it seems the entry-level Desire 310 has gotten an official unveiling today. In this case, HTC has said the Desire 310 will be available beginning in April and that it will bring "maximum value." Hardware features will include a 4.5-inch display and quad-core 1.3GHz processor, and HTC even managed to include goodies such as BlinkFeed and Video Highlights.

HTC Desire 816: hands-on with a mid-range flagship

HTC may have had the Desire 816 off limits for touching following the initial announcement event, but we still managed to get to spend a bit more quality time with the handset once the show floor opened. We still weren't able to power it on, which meant we were not able to see how nice the display looks. But again, for reference, the Desire 816 display is 5.5-inches and 720p.

As had been rumored, HTC appears to be shifting some focus back to the mid-range. Coming out of Mobile World Congress were two smartphone announcements from HTC, both of which are in the Desire series. These include the HTC Desire 816 and the Desire 610. As we mentioned in the announcement post, the Desire 816 has a decent (read: mid-range) set of overall features and specs.

HTC Desire 310 appears with quad-core MediaTek processor

HTC quietly unveiled another Desire branded handset earlier this morning. The handset, the HTC Desire 310 made a brief appearance on the European HTC page and was listed as bringing a quad-core MediaTek processor with 4.5-inch display. Getting a bit more specific, the processor is an MT6582M at 1.3GHz and the display is sporting a resolution of 854 x 480.
