It’s been a long time coming but the long awaited Gamifone has been announced for a T-Mobile release. Garmin was one of the first members of the OHA, promised to produce an Android handset, seemed like it would never come to fruition. This may be the first announcement of great Android devices for T-Mobile.
Twitter held a conference called chirp earlier today and Evan Williams announced they will launch their own Android app. Details of the app has not been mentioned, they could take over an existing app or develop their own. Since the beginning of Android, Twitter apps have been among the most popular apps available.
Since the release of Android, Google had made numerous updates to their core Android Apps (with the exception to the music player). All of the changes have made the Android experience more visually appealing. These changes usually slide by “stealthy” without the user being notified of the change.
Verizon and the NFL recently struck a deal reportedly worth $720 million over four years. This new deal has been quickly morphed into an Android app that will allow Verizon customers to watch live NFL games on Sundays and Thursdays. Also, this app will give you access to the RedZone channel which gives you highlights and scores of recent games around the league. Verizon is expected to release this app Monday.
Today, Rhapsody has removed this app out of beta. This app brings with it the ability to stream over 9.5 millions songs to your Android device. So if you have a paid Rhapsody subscription, this is the app you have been waiting for. If you don’t have a subscription you can sign up for a seven day trial and see how it goes, you might love it and decide to keep it.

I knew it wouldn’t be long until someone made an imitation iPad with Android as the OS. And yes folks, this will be running Android, the version is not known but 1.6 is a strong contender.
