LG’s Tegra 2 Android phone leaks with Full HD support

LG's promised Tegra 2 Android smartphone has leaked, and according to the specs it looks like it will be quite the beast. Engadget's tipster slipped them the shots, along with word that the smartphone will have an 8-megapixel rear camera, front-facing webcam and HDMI port capable of 1080p full HD, and is internally referred to as the LG "Star". There's also a 1,500 mAh battery, microUSB, microSD and an unspecified version of Android which is "nearly" unchanged from stock. No word on pricing or availability, but we're excited already. Advent Vega specs revealed: HDMI, SIM slot & more [Video]

Full specifications for the Advent Vega Tegra 2 tablet expected to drop at UK retailers PC World and Currys for just £249 have emerged.  MoDaCo received both the OEM spec sheet and the retailer's version, and turned up a few interesting tidbits not included in the official press release. Of note are the HDMI connector, four-finger multitouch support and integrated SIM card slot (though, with no mention of an actual 3G modem, we're guessing you'd have to supply your own); the battery life is also impressive.  The Vega is expected to hit retail on October 18th. £180 burning a hole in your pocket and a desire for a 7-inch Android tablet?  disgo have outed their latest budget offering, though a glance at the specs show the disgo Tablet 6000 doesn't necessarily only do budget functionality. For instance, there's WiFi b/g/n and a miniHDMI port, as well as two USB ports (one Host, one Device) and, according to disgo, a separate 2D/3D graphics chip capable of HD.  It runs Android 2.1, though sadly lacks Android Market access, and is available this month for £179.99 ($285).
