Sony Android-Based Walkman Pictures

We finally can get a good look at the latest Android offering from Sony. This time around, they are introducing a new Walkman, these new pictures are going to be used in an upcoming promotion for the device. In the past we’ve only seen renders and a quick blurry shot. It’s a nice looking compact media player, this should be a good one.

RockPlayerBase player, AVI, MKV, DIVX and RMVB for Android

Since Android was introduced, there have been many complaints about its lack of .avi and .divx playback. Since then there has been a few phones with .divx capabilities but there still was no player for the rest of us. The RockPlayerBase allows any Android 2.1 handset to playback XviD, DivX, Mkv and even RMVB files. .

Samsung Galaxy Beam: world’s first Android projector phone

Projector phones were supposed to be “the next big thing” in the evolution of cell phones. So far, that hasn’t been the case, there was a non-Android based projector phone released here in the US recently. Needless to say it didn’t do so well as far as sales goes. I personally haven’t seen one in the wild since it was released. Can Samsung break this technology into the mainstream with the Galaxy Beam?

Well, it’s safe to say that the cat is out of the bag. And it brought a few other kitties with it. Not only will the Galaxy S Pro release on Sprint soon, the Galaxy S be joining it. Usually we would call something like this a rumor but we now have cold hard evidence of its existence. I checked my mailbox and to my delight I was treated with the first real pictures of the Galaxy S Pro. As you can see from the picture, it’s the Galaxy S with a full QWERTY keyboard. There’s also a front facing camera and a few other surprises.

Samsung Galaxy Apollo is “Coming Soon”

Here’s another solid Android offering from Samsung, the M100s. this handset is available for South Korean Android fans. But it could make a global world tour similar to the Galaxy S. it recently popped up on Samsung's British site as the Galaxy Apollo.

Droid 2 Finally Exposed – Video

Up until now all we’ve seen of the droid 2 is a blurry picture that didn’t even show the entire front of the device. Now we finally get a clear look at the full handset. There’s even a video of the boot screen and you can clearly see that it has a full QWERTY keyboard. It looks almost identical to the original droid that we all know and love.
