This week HD Widgets gets rather colorful in a new set of widgets that take what the app already does extremely well and cuts it all down to a rather Pop Art friendly phase. This release comes as a separate download from the main HD Widgets (now at version 3.8, mind you), and brings you a variety of new backs, fronts, colors, and everything in-between for your fully customizable widget family. HD Widgets just went full tilt simplistic for those that are weary of the skeuomorphism designs of the past - get flat!

While we were running around for CES the folks from Verizon Wireless announced a new tablet would be arriving on their shelves later this month. Which tablet you ask? The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 S-Pen and all will be coming to Verizon complete with 4G LTE. We managed to catch up with Samsung during the week to get some quick details, pictures, and a hands-on video with the new slate.

NVIDIA had a few big announcements here at CES 2013. Those included the Tegra 4 processor, which was demonstrated with a round of Dead Trigger 2 as well as the GRID and SHIELD. And while these will all very in importance, we think the SHIELD is a pretty interesting device. At the basic level, the NVIDIA SHIELD is an Android game console, but there is a bit more to it. We've mentioned it plenty already but here's an additional look.

We don't have a catchy name like the Fire to have a play on words, but it doesn't need to as the new Barnes & Noble NOOK Tablet aims to do all the talking itself and start its own fire. Today at the NYC event B&N unveiled their newest 7" Android tablet, some might still want to call it an e-reader although its more of a consumption device and tablet than anything. This tablet tablet comes rocking a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor to help it become much more than just an e-reader. We have some hands-on impressions below
