T-Mobile G2 hardware security hacked completely!

Even though T-Mobile took a lot of precautionary measures to make sure that the phone wouldn't be able to be rooted, the hardware is now fully unlocked. This is more than just simply rooting and putting ROMS on, the hardware is now completely open for development.

Android for iPad and iPhone 4 on horizon with OpeniBoot update [Video]

The prospect of a dual-booting Apple iPad, iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS capable of loading iOS or Android is one step closer, with a new version of OpeniBoot that can apparently run on the newer Apple devices. Arch modder Hexxeh has been demonstrating the updated tool, which allows booting of unsigned code such as Linux kernels on devices. Until now, OpeniBoot has been limited to the first-gen iPhone, iPhone 3G and first-gen iPod touch. We're not quite at stable dual-booting stage yet, but if you've always liked the look of Apple hardware but miss your Android fix, this could be one way of achieving it. [youtube UIixUYaLufo]

The brand new HTC EVO as we now know is being set at 30 fps in both 2 and 3d models. The slow-down is noticeable in a lot of games even when some people said it didn't matter. But anyways most people are happy that a fix-up is on the way.

Dell Streak Pairs Up With A Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse – Video

Here’s another feature in the hat of the Dell Streak. You can connect a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to the massive 5 inch screen on the Streak. Currently, the mouse has no functionality but it still cool that it even recognizes it. A Bluetooth keyboard and a nice dock is a great combination. It almost acts as a mini desktop computer. The best part about this is there’s no hacking required. Apparently you just pair up your keyboard and you’re on your way. There is no lag when typing on the keyboard. Everything is displayed almost instantaneously. If you have a Streak, try it out. If you’re still waiting for it to arrive you now have an extra function to look forward too.
