Google is apparently looking to bring together all of its communication services under one single platform. The platform will be dubbed "Babble", and it will solve Google's fragmented chat services. Right now, Google users can communicate through Google Talk, Google Hangout, Google Voice, Google Chat, Gmail Chat, and Google+. However, those services fail to communicate directly with each other.

Gmail, as many of you already know, it that it lets you make voice calls in addition to just sending off emails. Google allows free domestic calls within the US and Canada, which is a major bonus, but today it announced that the free calls won't be ending anytime soon. Google has revealed that it will extend free domestic calling for the US and Canada through 2013.

Google Search, or Google Now as some like to call it, and while that update is awesome it wasn't the only needed update today. Google has also issued updates to Google Voice as well as their Authenticator app. All these new versions are available as we speak but read on for more details.
Android 4.2 yet, but if you are, there's a pretty good chance you've encountered some issues with Google Voice. The app hasn't been functioning properly ever since Android 4.2 landed, but thankfully those frustrating days are over (at least until the next version of Android hits). Google pushed out an update for Google Voice today that fixes the app's compatibility issues with Android 4.2, and it's available on the Google Play Store now.
Google Now, that was revamped and released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is headed to iOS - wait what? Yup, you read that title right. Obviously the entire amazing feature set and "cards" of Google Now won't be hitting the iPhone, but it comes close and is set to rival Siri on her own playing field.

Google+ Circles are available in Google Voice, too, allowing you to define what action Google Voice takes when one of your contacts calls. To be blunt, it makes it a lot easier to send that friends who's just a little too persistent straight to voicemail.
