Logitech Revue Accessories Showcased

The Logitech Revue show is fully under way, and the information is starting to break free. While Logitech put a lot of focus on the set-top box itself, there was obviously a major push to make sure that the accessory department was covered as well. While there are more still to come, the initial roll-out is a pretty good one, featuring keyboards, as well as a way to use your Android-based handset to control your Google TV. What's better, though, is the fact that the accessories are already up for pre-order, just like the Revue itself.

Despite the fact that Logitech's press event is set to kick off any moment, it looks like Dish Network couldn't keep their excitement in check anymore. They have just launched their Logitech Revue site, and while it doesn't necessarily give all the information we would have liked, it does indeed showcase one aspect: the price.

According the the Wall Street Journal, it seems that Google TV will hit shelves a lot sooner than we all originally expected. Two days ago we heard from Eric Schmidt that Google TV would launch sometime this fall. However, this September launch date is far more precise than Google’s word.

This TV is from TCL which is a big electronics manufacturer in China. That will be the home of television if it makes it past all the censorship drama that is brewing between Google and the Chinese government.

Boxee and GoogleTV?

Google TV promises to bring the web to your television. Boxee is a service that brings television to you computer which in turn offers similar capabilities of Google TV. It’s only natural that Boxee wants to join Google in their efforts to bring the web to your standalone television. Boxee has stated they are working on an Android app for Google TV.
