Apple claiming Google Now infringes on Siri patents

We had known Apple was looking to include the GALAXY S 4 in the patent suit with Samsung. As of today however, it looks like Apple has filed a motion with the courts to include both the GALAXY S 4 and Google Now. Specifically, Apple is claiming patent infringement for a total of seven patents -- five of which deal with the GALAXY S 4 and two of which deal with Google Now.

Google Search is an extremely powerful service we all use each and every day. It's safe to say Google knows more about us than we'd like. Today however, Google's calling the new search "the end of search as we know it" as it improves like never before. Google search will now answer, converse, and anticipate. Google CEO talks Motorola, Google Now, Glass and more

Today Google hosted their annual earning reports for Q1 2013, and we've been getting all sorts of information about revenues, how much Motorola lost this quarter, and now things are turning towards products. If you're listening along Google's CEO Larry Page might not sound excited by his calm, almost sleepy voice, but he had some good things to say about plenty of upcoming products.

Google buys Machine Learning company to boost voice search and more

The folks from Google certainly are no strangers to snatching up promising and on-the-rise startup groups or companies, and today they've acquired another one. The company is called DNNresearch who specializes in 'machine learning' or artificial intelligence in computer systems. It looks like this is mainly for the image and voice recognition aspects, which we'll certainly welcome to Android.

Google Now extension spotted in Chromium

We have seen signs that Google Now was heading to Chrome, however this latest bit has arrived with little room for speculation. Basically, a Google Now extension has shown up for Chromium users. The one catch, the extension is not yet functional. Trying to stay on the positive side though, this does appear to be a fairly clear sign that Google Now support is coming to the desktop.

Google has recently released some updated information regarding Google Glass. The goodies include a video showing what using Google Glass will feel like, a bit about what you can do with Google Glass and even how you may be able to get a pair ahead of others.
