Chrome for Android update brings password and autofill sync
It wasn't all that long ago when Google added password and autofill sync support in the Chrome Beta for Android app. In fact, that support arrived just about a month earlier. A little nicer for today though, those features are now available for users of the non-beta version of Chrome for Android.

Google Now extension spotted in Chromium
We have seen signs that Google Now was heading to Chrome, however this latest bit has arrived with little room for speculation. Basically, a Google Now extension has shown up for Chromium users. The one catch, the extension is not yet functional. Trying to stay on the positive side though, this does appear to be a fairly clear sign that Google Now support is coming to the desktop.

Chrome for Android updated, no longer works on some custom ROMs [Update]
Oh yea! Chrome for Android Beta just received an update from Google over in the Android Market. At first glance we aren't seeing anything particularly new, not to mention they weren't nice enough to provide a change log for the update. Most likely the update just brought minor bug or performance fixes although we do have some bad news. The update is causing issues and Chrome for Android is no longer working on custom Android 4.0 ICS ROM's such as CyanogenMod 9.
